Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the
business requirements for the project, and
translating these into functional specifications and
detailed test plans.
-
Analyse
and document business processes of the current
services and provide new design if needed.
-
Perform database analysis, database modeling,
database information assurance and security,
database installation, database configuration, and
database performance monitoring and tuning
-
Proactively communicate and collaborate to analyze
information needs and functional requirements and
deliver the following artifacts as needed:
o
Functional requirements (Business Requirements
Document),
o
Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs
-
Document workflows and results of business analysis
results.
-
Provide the link between the government IT
employees, development teams and regarding software
functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
-
To design and execute the test scenarios and test
scripts.
-
Day to day management of change requests in design
and relations
-
Regular Reports to be produced for the project
manager showing progress against outstanding
milestones, status, resource requirements, issues,
risks and dependencies.
Skills
and qualifications
-
A university degree in IT or relevant discipline.
-
At least 3 years relevant experience in technical
analysis, design and documenting complex business
processes.
-
Experience of PHP, Java, and XML
-
Demonstrable experience writing requirements
specifications for Information Systems.
-
A proven track record in Software Development
-
End to end experience of the project lifecycle
-
Results orientated with good communication and
interpersonal skills
