Responsibilities:
1. SUN Solaris System Administration
• Plan, install, maintain and administer all UNIX
servers.
• Schedule and perform Software installations and
upgrades on UNIX servers in accordance with established
IS policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend management and maintenance
tools for Windows servers.
• Provide proactive maintenance and performance tuning
to all UNIX servers.
• Configure and maintain E-mail Systems.
• Manage data backup and recovery systems for all UNIX
based systems.
2. Problem Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all UNIX related problems in
coordination with the Help Desk on first call for
customers

Skills
• B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical.
• Strong background in UNIX operating system, especially
SUN Solaris.
• Strong background in Red Hat Linux
• Strong background in setting network services: DNS,
Mail server, Web server, Databases.
• Strong background in storage: RAID, SAN, NAS.
• Strong understanding of network and system security.
• Good spoken and written English.
